How about an optional third step? ...A step for those who wish to evolve and change consciously from within.
In my experience, this step involves the intentional act of exploring, challenging, and reforming ones own beliefs.
It requires us to become self-aware and softened to the natural 'flow of life', whilst also being open to taking initiative when it counts.
With new perspectives, habits and ways of interacting with the world, tend to also come new forms of purpose, new relationships, experiences of awe, connection and joy.. In turn, old patterns tend to transform into wisdom, or become obsolete, like a pair of shoes that no longer fit.
